My CD Cover

For my CD Cover, I chose a fictional rock-n-roll band called Hep Alien. I chose a gray background and dark red lettering as my theme, as those are two popular colors for teenagers, the target consumers. I used this gray/garnet theme on both the cover and the back. I found a font called "AR Berkley" for the self-titled album name, and highlighted it with a 1.5 point solid black stroke.

I used pictures from the television series "The Gilmore Girls" for photos of the band Hep Alien. I used my own imagination to come up with songs on the album. I used roman numerals for the song numbers, aligned to the left; for the song names, I aligned them to the center. I used a simple font that complimented "AR Berkley" called "AR Cena" for the song names and numbering.

For the barcode, I simply created a large white box and used various sized black rectangles for the lines. When I completed the boxes, I grouped them together to more easily move the barcode to the other corner of the back cover.
