My Business Flier

For my business flier, I got the idea from my mother's new hobby, jewelry making. I came up with a name for the business: "Charms by Cheryl." I tried a few different fonts before choosing "Giddyup Std" because of its style; the font has a fun, girly style to it that I felt would best appeal to the targeted clientele-females. I chose to set the business name to the right margin of the page.

Then, I made a list of items offered by the business. Instead of putting the list under the name of the business, I chose to set the list to the left margin of the page, balancing the text in the layout. I found clip-art of a diamond and used Photoshop to set it all to black and used the image as bullet points to emphasize the list of items.

For the remaining, smaller items, I stuck to a simple font, as it is much easier to read in a smaller font size. I also tried to best balance items within the flier to ensure that no item was missed by the eye. White space was used to separate items from one another.
